Fort Chip Future began with photos of my young sons and their friends (now adults) and their connection with the isolated Northern Alberta community of Fort Chipewyan.  It then became natural to include photos of other young people with a Fort Chip connection, then others connected through their common Dene heritage, and others connected through their French connection.

Ancient artwork gives way to the contemporary interests of the youngsters as expressed in the cartoon images that became part of the artwork, foreshadowing the Fort Chip yet to come and their role in it.
